shutterstock_35964484For the last few months I have been banging on to people about paying attention.So many of us live our life in a fog and have forgotten that by sharpening up our thinking and our awareness, our results will show an increased level of success.

If you want to succeed in your chosen field then no matter how talented you are you need to apply yourself.

To become exceptional, a surgeon may be gifted but he still has to start from the bottom – well maybe not literally!!!

So impressing people does not just mean turning up looking wonderful, you have to back up your skills with evidence.

So here are some questions to get you thinking. These are standard interview questions and the concepts are found in the basics of business – see Great Answers to Tough Interview Questions by Martin John Yate.

Here’s what he says;-

Discover the 20 key personality traits of the most successful people and how to convey them;

Describe a siuation where your work or an idea was criticized

Have you done the best work you are capable of doing

What problems to you have with getting along with others

How long will you stay with the company

I’m not sure you are suitable for the job

Tell me something you are not very proud of

What are some of the things your superior did that you disliked

What aspects of your job do you consider most crucial

Can you answer these questions off the top of your head ?

They are designed to catch you out and test your mettle.

Please remember that 80% of people never prepare for an interview, do not be one of them.
