Specialising as an Interim Sales and Marketing Director/sales turnaround ‘doctor’, restructuring and refocussing the performance of sales and sales teams, I have completed 13 successful assignments in total over the last fifteen years, in various market sectors, leading to increased profitability and lean, highly functioning sales operations. Prior to this I worked in Sales and Sales Management for 16 years.
My extensive experience covers working with multiple industry verticals, several world class organizations, always with IT and working in the UK, US, AsiaPac and Europe. Companies I have been involved with cover Lloyds of London, Marsh McLennan, Wang Labs, EurotaxGlass’s, Cision, Computerwire (Datamonitor), Pfizer, NatWest Bank, as well as business partners such as IBM and Sun Microsystems.
I’ve been involved in the recruitment, induction and training of hundreds of people, mainly in Sales, both internally and field based. I understand the personalities and passions of sales people and what makes them perform well and what demotivates them and it’s not always the big things.
